Emilie Rae Cochrane is a sports reporter and anchor at WBIR 10 News in Knoxville, Tennessee, covering the University of Tennessee and college athletics across the SEC. She reports and anchors sportscasts multiple times each week, while also shooting, writing, and producing content under tight deadlines.
During the high school football season, Emilie is live in the field on Friday nights as part of WBIR’s 10Tailgate and helps report, anchor, and produce 10Sports The Blitz, a weekly 11 p.m. recap show. She is also a sideline reporter for Rivalry Thursday, contributing to a 30-minute pregame show and three-hour live broadcasts with pregame, in-game, and postgame interviews and live analysis.
A 2023 graduate of Temple University, Emilie began building her on-air experience before graduation. While still in school, she worked as a sideline reporter for Division I women’s basketball coverage on NBC Sports Philadelphia and freelanced as a sideline reporter for the Brotherly Love Pro-Am League.
Across live television, digital features, and social coverage, her focus remains the same: telling compelling sports stories that connect teams, athletes, and communities.
